Alejandra Hernandez, APRN-CNP, FNP, specialize in primary care, urgent care, and injury care. In the 10 years of nursing experience she has had the privilege of taking care of children and adults during some of their most vulnerable states.
She obtained a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology from Oklahoma City University, a Bachelor’s in Nursing from SWOSU, and a Master’s in Nursing with focus in the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) from the University of Oklahoma. She has professional experience in critical care, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, strokes, and orthopedics.
She chose a career in healthcare because she loves interacting with people. She has a passion for helping patients understand their health, and encourages them to have a voice in their care.
When she is not in the clinic, she is home with her husband and 3 sons. She loves traveling and experiencing the outdoors, swimming, and spending time together.
She prides herself in being an active listener, and always bring empathy and compassion to all patients. Her goal is to make her patients always feel safe and respected.
